Conversion to Multi-Family Residence, New York, NY

CARA was hired by the owner to coordinate work between the architect and general contractor and file documents with DOB for the goal of obtaining a final Certificate of Occupancy (C of O). This property was converted from a Single Room Occupancy (SRO) to a 3-family residential structure. CARA retained the services of an architect who prepared the final construction documents that were reviewed and approved by the DOB. In addition, we hired a general contractor who completed the work necessary to meet code. In April 2006, we received the final C of O.
